Three comforting recipes I’ve been cooking on repeat🤩

Hi Reader,

Some weeks in my kitchen revolve around comfort, simple meals, familiar flavors, and recipes that feel good to cook and share. Recently, these three dishes have been on repeat at home, and I wanted to share them with you.

Potato Tikka Masala
This is my go-to when I want something rich and satisfying without making it heavy. Soft potatoes, a creamy tomato base, and warm spices make it perfect with roti or rice.

Pineapple Tofu Curry
A little sweet, a little savory, and wonderfully balanced. The pineapple adds brightness while the tofu soaks up all the flavors. It’s one of those curries that surprises people in the best way.

Kashayam (Herbal Spiced Drink)
This one is close to my heart. I grew up watching this simmer gently at home, especially during colder days. It’s soothing, comforting, and something I still make when I want a warm, spiced drink.

All three recipes follow the same approach I use in my own kitchen: simple steps, balanced flavors, and spice blends that enhance rather than overpower.

I use my homemade spice blends while cooking these dishes, the same ones I prepare and share through my shop.

Happy Cooking,
Uma Raghupathi
